All Disney Ubtech Stormtrooper Robot Stopped Working? Part 1 - @fixed1t will Use The Bits To Make Another One. I've discovered that my expensive Disney Ubtech Stormtrooper Robot has stopped working as it can no longer login to its hard coded server address (as it's been turned off and effectively trashed by Ubtech). As these robots Must speak to the server to work they've all effectively been junked, and nobody should purchase one even if described as NEW or App Controlled. So being fixed1t I'm not going to leave all that technology to gather dust or become shelf ware or land fill, instead its been torn to bits by me so that in future videos I can replace the motherboard to make a new App controlled and fully programmable Stormtrooper that works much better than the original. Sadly I didn't video the teardown as it took a very long time but If I obtain another cheap, I will do a teardown video. Amazing MechRC Humanoid Robot Emote In My Shower

 

This is my aging Amazing MechRC Humanoid Robot Emote In My Shower doing his really cool demo dance. Although very few of these robots were released in 2009 I'm fortunate to have two. I've had to replacing the battery or should I say mod the battery connectors as like all LiPo batteries his batteries were dying and swelling dangerously WARNING: Never charge a Poly (silver bag) battery if its puffed up and swollen as they can and do exploded. Like the science lab sodium experiments we did a school. This robot is in amazing condition working perfectly as you can see. This is Part 4 of my EMO AI Desktop Pet Robot Videos where I look into some of the Speech Recognition commands. I have been testing EMO prior to selling him as I need the cash. How To Teardown A Cubee Robot Speaker For Servo Repairs - Part 6 I Need ...

After my Cubee Robot Bluetooth Speaker took a fatal dive at the floor, I am determined to fix my Cubee problems I found in Part 1. In Part 2 I tore down Cubee and I Identified that the right leg and hip servos were broken and needed to be replaced. In this Part 3, I replaced the Cubee right ankle servo, what I imagined would be a simple task of extracting the broken servo and swapping in a replacement took far longer and was more difficult than than I expected. In part 4 I replaced the right hip servo which was indeed damaged. In Part 5 - Houston We Have A Problem - caused by my not turning off the power after a final test In this Part 6 - I discover that the other left leg servo is trashed, and realise that it would be better to replace all 4 servos and to make all of them much more secure than in the original videos as slippage can cause damage if the servo is facing in the wrong direction when it activates. So I needed to find and test two more servos to replace the broken Left Leg and the flaky only left hip, given that three other servos had died In Part 7 - I improve the servo insertion process on the ankles and hips by re-inventing the servos fastening mechanisms led to the Part 5 damage. I always advise people to watch the entire video series if they wish to copy (at their own risk) what I have done, but in this case its crucial you do or I can almost guarantee you will make the same mistakes I did, or worse and as I have the tools and resources to correct things you may be left with a Cubee you broke. Simple Don't skip through this video series if you have a Cubee. ASMR Unboxing New Reach Robotics Mekamon Augmented Reality Robot

This is a detailed Unboxing of a brand new Reach Robotics Mekamon Augmented Reality Robot. Reach was an award winning company which sadly ceased trading in 2020 after winning awards in 2017 and 2019, which is sadly a common fate of many high technology startups. There are a number of these old stock Robots available on eBay and other platforms at crazy low prices, however sadly they are powered by Lithium Polymer or LiPO batteries many of which has discharged since manufacturer. LiPO batteries are prone to overheating if charged from a heavily discharged state, so they have protective circuits in the battery control charging systems that prevent the battery from recharging, without specialist work to bring them to the low edge of life. This is a great unboxing as the quality of the materials used and therefore the sound of the box opening and unpacking make this an excellent ASMR video. I will be making a part 2 video once I have rescued and charged the Mekamon Battery show its amazing functionality and possibly many more videos afterwards. Whats amazing is how they have manage to install some catwalk style (I was going to say feminine charm but thought I'd get slaughtered) into this rare gender specific female robot, for those who remember Thunderbirds or Captain Scarlet I think you will see the similarity. The femisapien is very much one of a kind so I'll be doing some more videos with her.

Here is my Kung Fu dancing AI Chinese robot Bobi Bobi showing off his Kung Fu Moves with Chinese backing track. If anybody can translate I'll be happy to give you a shout out and put it in the description.

This is the Chinese AI Robot whose power circuitry I fried by plunging in the wrong power adapter, not imagining this high end item would no be reverse polarity protected I was wrong. With no word at all from the manufacturer or distributor to help I had to gerry rig a new charging procedure, which works thankfully.

He's not a bad Kung Fu artist for a robot, with great balance even on one leg, I hope you like the video and subscribe to the channel.

Its Incredibly Time Consuming To Do And Sadly The Software Is Pretty Basic And As The NAO Robot Has Been Around For A Very Long Time, You Would Hope The Manufacturer Would Invest In Developing The Tools, But As With A Lot Of These AI Robots They Get Around It By Claiming Its A Research Tool, Like Henry Ford Would Have Been Crazy To Put A Start Handle In The t-Ford And Say Its Up To The Owners To Put An Engine In It. If This Video Gets Some Good Likes And Shares NAO-Poppy And I Will Make More With Guest Appearances From Other Robots.
