All Disney Ubtech Stormtrooper Robot Stopped Working? Part 1 - @fixed1t will Use The Bits To Make Another One. I've discovered that my expensive Disney Ubtech Stormtrooper Robot has stopped working as it can no longer login to its hard coded server address (as it's been turned off and effectively trashed by Ubtech). As these robots Must speak to the server to work they've all effectively been junked, and nobody should purchase one even if described as NEW or App Controlled. So being fixed1t I'm not going to leave all that technology to gather dust or become shelf ware or land fill, instead its been torn to bits by me so that in future videos I can replace the motherboard to make a new App controlled and fully programmable Stormtrooper that works much better than the original. Sadly I didn't video the teardown as it took a very long time but If I obtain another cheap, I will do a teardown video. This is my  @FIXED1T  AI Humanoid Robot NAO Poppy playing at being a comedian and telling me a couple of jokes, this is part 1 and there will hopefully be many more. I've also decided to to allow subscribers to leave jokes in the video comments which they would like NAO to perform so that they can show family and friends video of an AI Robot telling their jokes. This is Part 3 of my EMO AI Desktop Pet Robot Videos where I look into troubleshooting his startup and setup issues. I have been testing EMO after setting him up and visiting the Living.AI forums it seems that some people having issues interacting with EMO. How To Teardown A Cubee Robot Speaker For Servo Repairs - Part 6 I Need ...

After my Cubee Robot Bluetooth Speaker took a fatal dive at the floor, I am determined to fix my Cubee problems I found in Part 1. In Part 2 I tore down Cubee and I Identified that the right leg and hip servos were broken and needed to be replaced. In this Part 3, I replaced the Cubee right ankle servo, what I imagined would be a simple task of extracting the broken servo and swapping in a replacement took far longer and was more difficult than than I expected. In part 4 I replaced the right hip servo which was indeed damaged. In Part 5 - Houston We Have A Problem - caused by my not turning off the power after a final test In this Part 6 - I discover that the other left leg servo is trashed, and realise that it would be better to replace all 4 servos and to make all of them much more secure than in the original videos as slippage can cause damage if the servo is facing in the wrong direction when it activates. So I needed to find and test two more servos to replace the broken Left Leg and the flaky only left hip, given that three other servos had died In Part 7 - I improve the servo insertion process on the ankles and hips by re-inventing the servos fastening mechanisms led to the Part 5 damage. I always advise people to watch the entire video series if they wish to copy (at their own risk) what I have done, but in this case its crucial you do or I can almost guarantee you will make the same mistakes I did, or worse and as I have the tools and resources to correct things you may be left with a Cubee you broke. Simple Don't skip through this video series if you have a Cubee. ASMR Unboxing New Reach Robotics Mekamon Augmented Reality Robot

This is a detailed Unboxing of a brand new Reach Robotics Mekamon Augmented Reality Robot. Reach was an award winning company which sadly ceased trading in 2020 after winning awards in 2017 and 2019, which is sadly a common fate of many high technology startups. There are a number of these old stock Robots available on eBay and other platforms at crazy low prices, however sadly they are powered by Lithium Polymer or LiPO batteries many of which has discharged since manufacturer. LiPO batteries are prone to overheating if charged from a heavily discharged state, so they have protective circuits in the battery control charging systems that prevent the battery from recharging, without specialist work to bring them to the low edge of life. This is a great unboxing as the quality of the materials used and therefore the sound of the box opening and unpacking make this an excellent ASMR video. I will be making a part 2 video once I have rescued and charged the Mekamon Battery show its amazing functionality and possibly many more videos afterwards. Whats amazing is how they have manage to install some catwalk style (I was going to say feminine charm but thought I'd get slaughtered) into this rare gender specific female robot, for those who remember Thunderbirds or Captain Scarlet I think you will see the similarity. The femisapien is very much one of a kind so I'll be doing some more videos with her.

Second Sony AIBO 210 From South Korea Has Neck Damaged In Transit

I'm having real difficulties getting a working Sony AIBO delivered without it being damaged by the shipping company,  the first ERS-210 I bought had a broken neck and various other problems, this one was working when the seller made his YouTube Video, but broken by the time it arrived at my home.



I need to develop the knowledge to fix these ASAP as there are very few people who do it and nobody in the UK.  If you previously repaired these and live in the UK I love to speak with you.

My Sony AIBO 210 Neck And Head Repair Update One

I've been informed by #wolfbob that my AIBO 210 Neck and Head fix has been successfully completed and that the AIBII named 'Bo' should soon be reunited with his headless body.

It looks pretty sick without its head:

This is one fix I would have loved to do myself, but as I had no spare or other parts available I took the wise decision and send it to somebody who has.

The National Museum of Computing, is located on Bletchley Park, is an independent charity housing the world's largest collection of functional historic computers, including the rebuilt Colossus, the world’s first electronic computer, and the WITCH, the world's oldest working digital computer. The Museum enables visitors to follow the development of computing from the ultra-secret pioneering efforts of the 1940s through the large systems and mainframes of the 1950s, 60s and 70s, and the rise of personal computing in the 1980s and beyond.
